P: Allow fewer but larger thumbnails in Lightroom import

I'd like to view the import thumbnails larger, by reducing the number across the screen from the current least(6) down to even 2.

This would allow easy viewing without having to open the image.

I scan a lot of wildlife images and sometimes the animal is very small in the image, making the thumbnails bigger would make it considerably easier to see if I captured the decisive moment.

My solution is to not try to cull during import. I import everything, then use the much more advanced options like Compare view to cull. This has an additional advantage as well: I do not have to use a yes/no option. I can reject and delete poor images, but I can also keep some images as 'maybe'. I can mark them as such, but do not have to delete them right away.

That is the method I currently use, but I'd like to scroll through large thumbnails, as it would be considerably quicker.

As a workaround, you can press E with a thumbnail selected, which displays a larger preview.

You can then use the arrow keys to navigate through all the photos without having to go back to grid view (press G to do that). There is also a checkbox to include in import, as well as a zoom slider.
