A few feature requests for Lightroom:

1. Auto exposure (not just auto tones)

2. Auto exposure (or tones) that prioritises skintones (so to expose for the subject, not the whole image)

3. a liquify tool

4. AI culling, similar to that in AfterShoot

Correct. If you want to do this in batch, then that plugin is indeed the way to go currently.

Shift double click only works on one image at a time. You might as well yourself. What's my current workflow? I'll download 400 to 1000 pictures from a shoot, and if I could just have them, AutoCorrect, the exposure only all at once not individually.

I am playing around with Jeffrey Friedl's plug-in which I haven't looked at in a while, but was a huge fan in the past.

I think the author simply didn't know about shift-double click. If he did know, he would not have said "I need Lightroom auto exposure, only", but phrased his request differently.

I think the author desires to be able to single click on Auto, and have just the Exposure change.

But yes, Shift-Double Click Exposure will work.

Auto Exposure already exists for many years. Shift-double click on the word 'Exposure'. Same for 'Whites' and 'Blacks'.

If you look through Adobe forms going back 11 years now.  You can see multiple request's for Lightroom "auto exposure only".
using AI to adjust exposure only would be fantastic. If "auto" in develop worked properly, I don't think anyone would ask for exposure only. It tries to do too many things, and only ends up messing up the image.
from a journalistic view would be extremely helpful in speeding up you could gain back a lot of people from the mechanic if this feature was added in.
I need Lightroom auto exposure, only.

I know of one plugin for this. Personalized Auto Tone by Jeffrey Friedl's. This is within the larger plugin Jeffrey’s “Bag-o-Goodies” Lightroom Plugin. This is at:

This particular plugin has two parts.

  • Apply Personalized Auto Tone
  • Configure Personalized Auto Tone and Apply

When you want to use this plugin after install it will be found in the Plug-in Extras, within the jf Bag-o-Goodies

You must first select the Configure Personalized Auto Tone and Apply at least once to configure the plug-in before using.

This is an example of a configured Personalized Auto Tone:

It is very important to read the instructions for the plug-in. It is tricky at first. Notice in the above that I have to select Enable even for items I do not want to adjust. Mind you I only have to configure once as I am happy with it and find no need to change (in my case I only allow Exposure, Whites, Blacks, but sure, you could select only Exposure)

Using this plugin, when I select it, my selected values, in my case Exposure, Whites, and Blacks are automatically changed, and the other values are not.

Following is the General panel using the normal Auto:

And if I instead use the plugin:

Remember, I am going for Auto Exposure, auto Whites, and auto Blacks.
