This should be a pretty easy feature to add and it would be a great help in the setup for auto-stack.   The relevant window shows how many stacks there will be, but it does not currently say what the sizes of those stacks will be.  A line listing all of the stack sizes, e.g.

      Stack sizes:  1, 3, 5

might tell a user that the setting is right whereas a line showing:

     Stack sizes: 3, 26

would probably suggest shrinking down the interval a bit.

    Agreed. It would also be nice to stack based on filename so you can stack photos with differing extensions together. It seems like a very logical feature given that cameras can shoot so many frames per second. Stacking by capture time makes it useless.

      I agree. The Auto Stack command of the Any Source plugin does show you the smallest and largest stack sizes, for precisely that reason:
