P: Consistent Organization Across Platforms

Would love it if my Lr Mobile and Browser would mimic the organization that I’ve set up in my LrC collections. Moving images and albums around in Mobile and Browser is cumbersome, practically impossible, frankly. I only use Mobile and Browser to share albums, or to show images from my phone when away from my computer. I find they are difficult to find in Browser or Mobile once synced, and manually organizing them in browser or mobile is way too many steps.

I’m hoping you can clarify this request so I understand it better. When I share an LrC collection in the cloud, it can be viewed in Lightroom Mobile, it is an album that has the same name as the LrC collection. So I have no trouble finding the photo via Lightroom Mobile.

Yes, it is an album with the same name as the collection, but it’s not in the same place when synced. So one has to go to the web or mobile app to move the album so it’s in the same place. Otherwise the list is so long in mobile or web that it’s impossible to find anything.

In my case, I organize my collections the same as my library, with folders/collection sets for each year, and a folder/collection for each batch named with a date and subject matter. Then, when I upload new images, they are renamed with the same date and subject matter. For instance, “2026-03-29_Charlotte_” would be the folder/collection name, as well as appended to the beginning of file name. That folder/collection then lives inside a folder/collection set named “2026”.
