P: Create Identical cell size and position in Book Module (Align)

Hi,
While adding individual picture cells and text cells in a book is a great new feature, I wonder how can I create those cells with identical sizes? There is neither an opportunity to just copy and paste an existing cellnor can I see details regarding size (x/y values) and the exact position of the cell.
Unfortunately, there is also currently no possibility to align boxes.
The ability to add individual cells is really great and I guess some of us were waiting for year on it. However, a page of a photo book should look professional and therefore it must be possible to determine the exact size of cells, their position and to align them vertically, horizontally or to evenly distribute them on a page.
I hope you got my point. If not: please try to create a page with 3 x 3 photo cells of identical sizes...
Thanks
Christian

I strogly agree with all the comments on this thread. Its a no-brainer that LR should have made this feature available  in book module years ago. Yet here we are, in 2023, and we're still waiting... Come on Adobe!

It would be great to be able to align photo cells in a book, without having to drag and eyeball it. Being able to align photo cells on opposite pages on the same spread should be an option too!

I agree with the above comments and it would be good to be able to snap to grid or guides. You can use the up/down or left/right arrow keys to fine tune the cell position. I made a brief YouTube video if you are interested.

I totally agree - I started using the book program again as soon as the update was released but soon found the cells of little use as there is no accuracy in placing them - there is a grid but I could not find any way to specify the size of grid or make the cells lock to the grid.  So I stopped using book and went back to the CEWE book program that I have been using because Lightroom is no good for book production. Unfortunately the down side of using CEWE is that I have to export photos for the book from Lightroom after altering them. The other advantage of CEWE is that their layflat photo books are excellent and much cheaper than the newlay flat book in Blurb. Also Blurb quotes a very long delivery time from America. It amazes me that Lightroom's book module has been and is still so poor compared with other book programs on the market, the rest of Lightroom is so good.
Its a great pity that Apple stopped the Aperture program as it's book module was excellent.
