P: Deleting rejected images should auto-select next/previous image, not jump to first

Currently, when you have a rejected image selected and perform the delete rejected image(s) from disk function, Lightroom Classic jumps all the way back to the first image instead of moving to the next or previous one. It slows down culling a lot. Would be way better if it just stayed in place (or moved forward/back). Thanks!

I had meant to post this in ideas. Can you move it there?

Try resetting the preferences of Lightroom Classic:  How to reset Lightroom Classic preferences (adobe.com)

It's recommended to backup your preferences before you reset the preferences to the default settings:

https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/kb/preference-file-and-other-file-locations.html

If this doesn't help we need more informations.

Which version of Lightroom Classic do you use?

What happened on ypou system before the error occured (software update, patch installation etc.)?

Please provide also a copy of your 'System Info'. This can be get from the LrC Help > System Info menu item. There's a copy button in the System Info dialog. Press this button and paste the info into your next forum post.

My System: Intel i7-8700K - 64GB RAM - NVidia Geforce RTX 3060 - Windows 11 Pro 25H2 -- LR-Classic 15 - Photoshop 27 - Nik Collection 8 - PureRAW 5 - Topaz Photo

I prefer not to reset my preferences because I don't believe this to be an error. Are you saying the program is not designed to perform in this manner? I'm running an Apple M4 Pro chip 24GB RAM 1TB SSD, so this is not a performance issue either.
