P: Enhancing a Raw Image - Both Denoise and Super Resolution

Hello

All the new features that Adobe has added to LrC are great! I am looking back at images that I once thought were unusable, I am now able to revive and use them. However, the features in the Enhance Menu seem to all be mutually exclusive; I can use one but not the other if I want to keep the image raw.

It would be great if I could denoise a raw image and then Super Resolution the same image after denoise.

I understand that I can export as a full-resolution TIFF after denoise and then use Super Resolution, but now the image is no longer raw. I appreciate that I may not understand how raw images work, and this may not be technically possible, but I thought I would make the suggestion.

Have a great day.

Rick.

At the moment they are mutually exclusive because neither will work on demosaiced linear DNGs. And that's what both of them produce.

Super resolution will work on fully processed RGB files, but not as effectively as on mosaic raw data.

The stated goal is to extend both to more file types, so we'll have to wait and see.
