I have been using lightroom now for several yaers but one option which i wish would be created would be the option to have some favorirte folder options in the import dialog box. As I have two or three folder I use mainly for importing. but when I change from my sub folder in pictures for example to desktop and want to go back to my sub folder we have to go through the entire folder tree to get to that folder . So having a favorite folders option would make that easier. The same applies when a Card is connected to the computer. lightroom goes to the card first even so i do not need to go there. so then again have to look through the entire computer folders to get to my import folder.

Are you importing from that folder or importing to that folder? If the latter, you might not have realized that if you click on the tiny exposure triangles next to the disk in the upper right of your screen, it lists all your recent imported to destinations providing one-click access to often used destinations.

The same thing is true for importing from. Just click on the disclosure triangle next to select a source and you get a popup with all your recent import from places:

So you should never need to navigate through folders in the import panel if you have three regular import from or import to locations.

Storing the selected folders in import presets would be a simple way of providing this functionality.
