P: Keyword search field offers 'contains' for synonyms
Lightroom Classic is an excellent tool for managing metadata and keywords; however, it still lacks some features that make handling large amounts of keywords challenging.
1) When dealing with thousands of keywords and synonyms in different languages (such as animal species in Dutch, English, and scientific names), locating the desired keyword can become arduous. It would be beneficial if the input field used for filtering existing keywords could incorporate a "contains" expression and include synonyms. Although John Ellis's AnyTag plugin offers a viable alternative, this type of functionality should ideally be an integral part of Lightroom itself.
Enhancements to the keyword hierarchy filtering would greatly improve user experience.
2a) Currently, entering multiple words functions as an OR expression so sometimes you get a lot of results. It would be advantageous to include an AND expression, possibly achieved by enclosing the input text in quotes.
2b) The current filter encompasses the entire keyword hierarchy. Introducing an option to filter solely within the children of the selected item would be a valuable addition.
