This is my estimation, Abobe denied to add Mac depended feature. Isn’t it?
If other Windows PC vendors copies touch bar to their products as usual,
Adobe may supports it.

Come on, Adobe. Lets get some Touch Bar support! ☺️

The bar changes depending on which mode you are in and whether you have an active selection.

Even better, let us choose and customize from an available list of actions depending on which panel is active!

Also desperate for this - it's been two years since the Touch Bar launched and every other app on my Mac - Photoshop, Airmail, Safari, Chrome, even bloody Microsoft Excel supports it.

Dear Victoria ,

two buttons please :

1. Library  and Development switch

or still more comfortable :

2. Generate positioned Single photos out of Life photos

and in general for light room :   Full screen photo preview

Greetings

Is there any update on this functionality being added to LR?

And back in the Keyboard section in System Prefernces, you can choose to show Fn keys all the time, or app controls, or the standard bar. And you can change what Fn shows.

In the meantime you may want to take a look at BetterTouchTool app. It's not perfect, but you can use it to add several Lightroom commands to the touch bar. https://folivora.ai

Yes, please. And make it costumisable, as we all will have different uses for it.
