P: (Masking) Blur option to luminance range masks

when selecting luminous range masks, it is not always possible to create a seamless transition, especially when selecting deep shadows at the end of the range slider. Having the option to blur the mask would allow  us to shorten the range sliders (so we don't affect outside areas) and still hide the transition. I think we used to be able to do this in previous versions. Thank you.

Yes I know the sliders, but they can often leave edge artifacts, especially along areas of high contrast. Because the sliders work by adding similar tones, they fail miserably when there are areas of high contrast, such as a trying to lighten deep shadows next to bright highlights. A blur slider would prevent this from happening.

You are aware of and using the feathering sliders (aka falloff)? Left and right.
