P: (Masking) Create a Transparent Area

Is there anyway to use the amazing masking tools within Lightroom Classic to create a transparent section. For example, background remover (object selection which can then be a separate virtual copy). I know I can make it white or do a multiple step and take it over into photoshop but considering Lightroom Classic can export a transparent PNG, it makes sense to have this feature in Lightroom Classic.
