P: Prioritize next album to sync from cloud to Classic

It would be great if I could open Lightroom Classic and be able to choose which Lightroom CC album to sync and not have to wait forever for other albums to sync.

I rarely use Classic, whenever I have to, everything is tedious and slow. I need to export the photos in one album differently, an album with only 40 photos...yet I'm currently 2 hours into syncing because you can't choose the album you want to update.

As Rob has indicated, it's all or nothing when syncing via the cloud to Classic.

I'll mark this thread for moving to the 'Ideas' forum.

@Rikk Flohr: Photography please move to 'Ideas' or merge with an existing thread on same subject if one already exists.

I did select the idea option, I guess it didn't work.

Currently not possible, but see a couple of Related Conversations on this page (top-right)

You could use a work-around:  Turn 'Off' [Pause] the Lightroom-Classic Sync entirely which would stop the automatic downloads of all files, then use Lightroom-Desktop v6.1 (Cloud based) on your Mac to Export files from your selected Album to your desktop, then Import these to LrC.

Export as Custom 'Original + Settings' to include edits.

I only see one complication- if the Album photos have already downloaded to LrC - It is possible you may get the "Already has been Imported" error message.

Is there something (like the modules) in LrC that requires you to use LrC on your desktop?

Regards. My System: Windows-11, Lightroom-Classic 15.1.1, Photoshop 27.3.1, ACR 18.1.1, Lightroom 9.0, Lr-iOS 10.4.0, Bridge 16.0.2 .

I needed and export setting, and I typically do all

my work on my desktop. It here isn't a Lightroom Classic for mobile, and Lightroom CC/Mobile don't have some of the features that classic has.

I ended up just waiting for the sync to finish, it's just silly that a cloud service meant to optimize workflow doesn't have a more customizable sync option.
