P: Proceed with batch HDR merging even if there is an error for a given merge

Hi,

Hi have hundreds of bracketed shots to merge when I come back from work at night.

Sometimes more than 500, composed of 5 * 125Mo files. It takes a wile to proceed, so I launch everithing at night to be ready to be edited in the morning.

Sometimes, I come back in the morning and there is a prompt saying xxx pictures can not be merged (I've made an error while selecting some files). The issue is that the hole process of merging is halted until I dismiss the error message. This morning, for exemple, I came back with an error message for 3 pictures. Then dismissed the prompt.... there was 245 files waiting in the queue LR didn't proceed at night only 'cause it waited for me to dismiss the error message.

It is a huge waste of time. Please, simply implement a behavior for lightroom to process everything that it's OK and simply put the error message at the end.

Thanks a lot

Hey Marcback! Welcome to the Lightroom Community. I'll help you with this.

The suggested workflow is currently unavailable in Lightroom Classic, and we appreciate the feedback.

You can explore batch processing with scripts & actions in Photoshop to automate HDR Merge.

You can decide to stop for errors or log errors to file. You can begin by starting a new post in the Photoshop community to help you with scripts. Head here to learn more about Batch processing in Photoshop: https://adobe.ly/4c0hntY;

Let me know if it helps. Thanks!
