P: Recover from accidentally closing import menu with ESC

Was going through bunch of photos I took at an event and using the tilde key (~) to check my picks for edit. Was more or less through all of the 1.2K pictures, when I accidentally hit ESC key located right above, and lost all progress. Is it really that hard to put in a "Do you really want to cancel?" pop up here? Lost like 30 minutes of work. This is UX 101 guys

    Same thing just happened to me, three years later. Should be such a simple fix.C’mon Adobe

    Maybe an opportunity for UX improvement, maybe also an opportunity for a workflow improvement on your side.

     

    You could import all the photos, then make your picks after import and delete the ones you don't want. Probably similar total time spent, as the sorting and picking tools within LRC are much better once the photos are imported (longer to import, but quicker to sort, pick and rate). But definitely much safer, as all your choices for picks are maintained as you go and no risk of loss of work.
