P: Reference photo view closed after rotating photo

Hello,

I always edit photos using the reference photo view but this view is closed after I rotate a photo. I always have to press the shortcut to open the reference photo view which is very annoying.

I understand that reference photo will not displayed while I rotate a photo but why after the rotation this view is closed?

Please change.

I noticed this bug in every LrC Version, also on 13.0.1
I'm using MacOS.

I do not see any "Upvotes" to the idea. You need to encourage support for the idea.

Is there an update on this?

It's really very annoying to have to press the shortcut for the reference view every time I rotate a photo. Normally, in software development, it's a simple command to automatically reopen the reference view after rotating a photo.

This is expected behavior. You've probably checked the 'don't show again' option on the dialog.

Please read my posting carefully.

The problem is, that the reference view will not be displayed again after rotating/cropping a photo. I have to press the shortcut again.
For example you edit 500 photos and want to crop/rotate them, you have to press 500 times the shortcut for reference view. This is working like in the 90's.

Please read the dialog carefully 😉 It says it will "EXIT" the Reference View - not temporarily suspend the Reference View. If you would like to create a feature request for a behavior change, I would be happy to convert this post for you.
