P: Reference View - Add Cropping

It would be great if I could crop images in Lightroom while using the Reference View.

Right now, a user can edit an image in Lightroom in Reference View. This shows the image that will be edited, and an image reference next to the image that will be edited, so users can edit the photo to match their chosen reference.
Once 'crop' is clicked, reference view disappears and is only crop-mode. It would be great if I could crop while still in Reference View, so I can match the angle and positioning of the reference photo.

If I want my images to have the same positioning, I have to crop, then click back, crop, click back, crop, click back... having cropping inside reference view would make it a 1 step process to get images to look uniform.

Why in Lightroom (Lr) we can crop using the Reference view and in Lightroom Classic (LrC) we can't do it?!?

This is one of the strange things that I wrote in the notes titled: "Who is working on this thing is not using it".
