P: Separate Pure Whites and Blacks during Color Grading

Lightroom CC really needs to separate pure whites and pure blacks from highlight and shadows for colour grading. The colour keeps bleeding into the blacks and Whites. A slider that will control how far into the highlights or shadows you get into. Like a 'luminance range' if you will. That could actually help the mid tone range as well. This is quite basic actually. I actually miss the split toning. It was way cleaner. It was an older idea but it was better executed. This is just what I think. Not a pro. But I probably enjoy editing more than taking photos. Lightroom is probably my favourite app period. A legit fan. If any of the developers happen to see this please look into it. If any of what I am saying makes sense and I am not missing out on anything.

Can you post a couple of examples of the bleeding into whites and blacks, showing before and after?  In general, Adobe is more likely to consider feedback that provides details and examples.
