P: Support video playback in Full Screen Preview mode

I often use WindowScreen ModeFull Screen Preview (F) to quickly share photos with family and friends. Unfortunately, videos don't playback in this mode; it just displays the first frame as a still. It'd be great if videos could be played in this mode! 🙏

I found an even better workaround: Regular Lightroom does support video playback in fullscreen mode! 🙌

I had just installed it to share a subset of my library across devices, and this was a nice side benefit!

@johnrellis, thanks for the tip! That's a good temporary solution. But I'm still hoping Adobe improves video handling.🤞

"So my current workaround is to go back to to Gallary mode, right-click Show in Finder, press spacebar for Quick Look, and finally make that window fullscreen. But that's quite a few steps!"

To quickly open a video in the default video player, use the Open command of the Any File plugin (the Open command is free to use). Assign a keyboard shortcut to Open (on Mac, I use Ctrl + O).  The web page for the plugin explains how to assign a keyboard shortcut on Mac and Windows.

Video playback in LR has long had intermittent issues with stuttering, so I always open catalog videos in Mac Quicktime as a matter of course.

Another way to meet my need would be to add a fullscreen button to the video player in the Library module. The closest I could come is to use WindowEnter Fullscreen Mode at the app level, then press Tab to hide the sidebars, but it's still not fully maximized.

So my current workaround is to go back to to Gallary mode, right-click Show in Finder, press spacebar for Quick Look, and finally make that window fullscreen. But that's quite a few steps!
