I would love to be able to use LiveView while also tethered to Lightroom.

Thank you Lewis, but unfortunately it will not.

In the case I'm talking about Live View as part of the tethering system in some photo editing apps, like Capture One. You need to be able to view and shoot or capture on the same app.

There are several free tethering apps for Nikon cameras, just do a search. Nikon has Camera Control Pro for $60. As they are hemorrhaging cash, Nikon cannot afford to give it away.

And never forget that Nikon keeps all their specs secret so Adobe would have to reverse engineer the software. You should be complaining to Nikon, not Adobe.

Hi all, just got knowing after a chat with a technical support adviser, that so far Lightroom Classic have this feature only for a bunch of Canon models...

Since Canon is got their own app that is already capable of it, it would be really useful if you offer this feature compatible with Nikon cameras.

Currently paying monthly plan on Capture One as well just because of this... the Capture One tethering system is complete and works very well.

Please, launch Live View for Nikon cameras as soon as possible.

Many thanks!

How is Capture 1 at importing Lightroom databases? Does it pick up all the metadata, collections, etc.?

When I am in the studio I need a live feed from the camera. I want the program to give me the opportunity to remote the camera while Im at my iMac so I can see the screen result without taking pics. This will give me the oppetunity to guide the assistent in the light setup a give me at steady workflow.
