P: Updating a setting on a mask with same id across several images should only update that setting

With Auto Sync, if I select several images with the same mask id and change one setting in one of the images, it should update only that setting of the mask on all seleted images. The same behaviour as for global settings changes across multiple selected images.

eg. 2 photos with Linear Gradient "Mask 2". All have different settings. If I change the Shadows on the selected image, it should update only the Shadows on the other photos mask with that id and not all other settings, including the size and position.

Look what happens with the exposure of the first image when I update the shadows on the second. That should not happen on masks with the same ID like it does not happen with global settings changes

That behavior should definitely change. Copying all settings is completely counterproductive.

The underlying problem is that LR provides no easy mechanism for copying individual correction settings from one mask to another, either in the same photo or in different photos. A related Idea:

shows how you can do it very clumsily using Mask presets ("effect" / "local adjustment" presets or whatever this year's product managers want to call it). This Idea shows that Auto Sync copies or updates entire masks, not individual settings.
