Ocr and text based searching of photos with text

It’s true that Lightroom Mobile currently lacks OCR (optical character recognition) and in-app text search functionality, which are available in Google Photos. In Google Photos, you can search for images containing specific words or phrases thanks to built-in OCR and AI-powered search. Lightroom Mobile, while powerful for editing and organizing photos, does not yet allow you to search images based on visible text within them.   Photographers who rely on text recognition for organizing receipts, documents, or images with signage often need to use external applications or workflows to perform OCR before managing those files in Lightroom. For now, Lightroom Mobile remains primarily focused on editing, tagging, and cloud-based syncing, rather than AI-based content recognition.  If Adobe adds OCR and text search in future updates, it would significantly streamline photo management for users who handle text-heavy images.
