P: 100% or 1:1 Zoom

Seems that double tapping to zoom in Lightroom Mobile on iPad Pro is inconsistent and never yields actual 100% image pixel to display pixel view. Initial zoom factor appears to depend on actual image file resolution and is about 75% zoom with image files from my D500, but closer to 50% zoom with files from my D850. Repeatedly double tapping eventually yields something closer to 200% zoom for image files from both cameras. I’ve seen a few posts dating back a year or more on this subject and none have been answered. Are there implementational issues with iOS and/or certain mobile devices with adding this functionality? Needless to say an accurate 100% pixel to pixel view is a very important feature to be able to consistently assess image sharpness/detail and noise.

Pressing the space bar in Lightroom mobile on iPad should toggle the zoom between 100% and "fit to window", similar to the desktop version. This would facilitate culling photos. Pinch to zoom on the touch screen works, but is not nearly as fast as just hitting the space bar.

Additionally, if zoomed in (e.g. to 100%) and advancing to the next photo using the arrow key, the zoom level should be preserved. This is how the desktop version works. Again, this would facilitate culling.

Hi all. It would be great if I could keep the same zoom level (ie 100%) when switching photos on iOS LR. I normally screen out photos based on (obvious) sharpness issues first, and prefer to do that at 100%. I can do this on the desktop version of LR cloud, but not the iOS version.

Please add the option to iOS version!

Hello dear Lightroom Team,

in Lightroom CC on my iPad / iPhone i only have very small, small, medium and large previews in the import dialogue when i want to import pictures directly from my camera or SD-Card to Lightroom. PLEASE PLEASE add a Fullscreen and Zoom Feature e.g. 100% to this dialoge so that i can decide better, which picture i should import.

That's one small step for a you - but one giant leap for mankind.

Thanks to the Adobe team and to all, who upvote this Feature.

Regards,

Sebastian

Meanwhile, stay tuned for Adobe MAX 24, to find out all the new AI features that you will be able to use!

Each time you find out that the bug that's bothering you was reported 6 years ago, with no fix in sight, you can just use AI to forget all about it.

Today I was looking for a button or confirmation what my zoom-level was, and to get to true 100%. Then searched "Lightroom mobile how to zoom in to 100%" and stumbled on this 6yo post! No fix in 6 years???

I just noticed this issue on my iPad Pro 12".

Never in a million year was I expecting to find a 5 year-old thread, talking about this...

I find this absolutely unbelieable.

It's getting really difficult to keep track of the number of bugs that plague me, and that Adobe does not care to fix.

I stopped using Bridge completely, completely unusable on my end, with bugs open for years.

I'm seriously getting to a point I'm wondering whether to just switch software.. pretty much every YouTuber have already dropped Premiere for good reasons.

One of my favorite parts of working on a desktop with Lightroom is the ability to zoom out and see the picture as a whole usually around 12% or 25% zoom, but it seems that this is not a supported feature on iPadOS. Additionally would love if we could have the option to change the background from black to white. The color of the background has a large impact on how the general exposure looks, and considering most of the images for the internet will live on a white background, would love if there was the option to alter this on Lightroom iPad.

I guess the thinking is that because of zooming by touch on the iPad, then zooming percentages aren't required.

This is the closest request I can see for zoom values. You may want to create a new one if it isn't what you require...

Please add up to pixel zoom option in masking section. Because sometimes when I want to mask the detail, I have to get very close and I can't do it.

Is there any chance of getting an official reply to this? Like is it a bug that we hit zoom in and it doesn't properly render the zoomed version until we change some settings?

Understand that adding accurate 100% zoom with a zoom slider and/or moving between photos at 100% zoom to review for sharpness might be complex feature requests but would be great to just get the 3 year old bug fixed.

I'm shocked that this has gone so long without being addressed.

I've been trying to fit Lightroom CC into my workflow since adding an iPad Pro to my desk, but honestly, it's like wearing a ball and chain. What is going on? The sofware runs great on the new M1 chipsets, but the feature set is Jurassic. It is truly abysmal.
