I may be mistaken, but I believe I got a message that this inquiry was closed. But I see no help or comment from Adobe, just a handful of other users who have the same concerns I raised in my request for a feature yesterday. In reading through the extensive information on Lightroom for desktop, I see that watermarks can be added to shared albums or folders. We're not able to do that when using mobile, Lightroom, and it seems like an obvious and relatively easy programming adjustment to add a watermark option to shared folders just as it appears when exporting individual our groups of images. Both actions exposed images to the risk of being copied or screenshot, and both deserve an efficient way to include a watermark.

Lightroom of course has some features designed to help creators protect their images. Copyright/watermarks can be added during the "export" feature. But not when a party is invited to view or share a folder or album using the "share & invite" feature. Both processes expose the creators' images to risks of being captured or copied by viewers outside of Lightroom. And both deserve the same efficient means of adding copyrights now available when exporting.

Please improve security in the share/invite feature by adding radio button (similar to the one available in the "export" feature) that will allow creators to add copyright/watermark protection to the images in the folder or album prior to sharing or inviting others to view. The share & invite feature is an appealing, and for many creators more efficient way, to share their work and deserves the same ease of protecting now restricted to exporting.

In the share/invite feature dialog box a creator can make a few choices in how images appear (grid or stack, dark or light background) in the shared folder or album, but does not have an efficient way to have the display the images with copyright/watermarks.

When we share the deliverables through link, the watermark will not be there. If we can have a watermark feature. Where people download the shared photo that time the watermark has to be there. Or we can have on off button. And client can select where to have the watermark while downloading. That way right people will always get the credits

I want to add WATERMARK option when I sync photos in collections.  So, when I open album links, I want to see images with logo.

I just would like to have  "WATERMARK ON/OFF" option while syncing collection album.

Otherwise, we need to export photos with watermark, then add again to Lightroom with logos, create again collection, sync again... too much workflow.

Yes, exactely! I would like that we have an option to put watermarks in proofing galeries so that our clients cannot just screenshoot images. How they didn't include such a simple feature is beyond me.

I would like to suggest the option to include/add your watermark when sharing your photos via the share link. I utilize the share link option to share all of my galleries with my clients, however in order to do so with my watermark I have to export them with the watermark, then re-upload them, and share the watermarked version. This would save a ton of time and ensure your creators are able to easily keep ownership over their images.

Thanks in advance for your consideration!

I wanted to use Lightroom albums to show clientele images so they could choose specific photos that they wanted to be edited and sent. The problem is that I'm selling a specific amount of photos to the customer and wouldn't want them potentially screenshotting/saving the photos in the album for free. A watermark feature that can be used on shared albums without the need to export and import photos just to save the watermark would save so much unneeded time.

I've heard Capture One has a robust client proofing gallery system. Maybe Adobe needs to loose clients to be pressured to do basic product improvements.

There has been an update to the proofing link on the web version. Much easier than the old way. BUT -

We NEED an automatic "PROOF ONLY" or customizable watermark of some kind on the Proofing Link.

Otherwise it is really no differnt than the sharing link.  AND PLEASE make this proofing function available in lightroom cloud instead of having to go to lightroom web. Put it in the sharing icon.

My workflow now has me exporting a gallery at low res with a watermark, then importing those images to a proofing link. Then I have to math up the customers selections with the originals for editing. WIth other online gallery services, watermarks are automatic on proofs...

When using the Lightroom CC shared album feature, I would like the ability to include watermarks on the images.

I need the watermark option for shared galleries in Lightroom CC. , when will that be implemented?

Additionally, I would like to request a feature that allows clients to select images from a shared album without the ability to take screenshots. As a photographer who hosts mini sessions, I offer clients a selection of images from which they choose their favorites. Currently, I rely on a third-party website for this process, which involves extra steps of downloading, uploading, and incurring additional costs. Integrating this capability into Lightroom CC would streamline my workflow and provide a more seamless experience for my clients.
