P: Add a send to email

John, I'm not sure which version is crashing. LRCC doesn't have an email function, so I can't see how that can cause it to crash. If LR Classic is crashing, create a thread and we'll help you figure out what's up.

i primarily use Lightroom Classic now but if I try to email from Lightroom, it crashes. . ridiculous.

Why can I not simply share an image by email from within Lightroom. This is something I want to do all the time and I don't understand why it is not possible. I would like to have an option that creates a new email in Outlook (on Windows 10) and attaches the image to it, ready for me to address, add some text and send. This seems very simple - why is it not possible?

At present I have to save the image to a file, with very limited option to choose the size (but which does not tell you how big the file will be). Then I have to switch to Outlook, create an email, and attach the file with all the hassle that involves of navigating through the file structure of the PC. It could be so much easier!

I agree it would be a great improvement, but are you sure it's a dealbreaker? There are fairly easy ways round it, until they add this feature. If saving to the desktop and then attaching to an email is too hard, how about saving to a folder and using something like Mac Automator to automatically grab that file and attach it to an email for you? Or email from your phone/tablet?

Agreed! It's a huge problem for me to not be able to email out of LR CC (creative cloud). This is a dealbreaker for me and I'll have to give up on this softward. 

I use Lightroom CC to email my finished or edited photos to family and friends. I have not discovered a method to do so with this version of Lightroom.  This is a real problem.

Please add this and possibly, Send to Messages so we can send pics to text as we can on our iPhones/iPads (for Mac Desktop users).
