P: Add Color Labels

I added thousands of photos (other than those in Synced Catalogs) and now I cannot differentiate them other than by the standard filters provided because I have used color labels to identify certain criteria. Color labels are just as important as Flags, Please add them!

I just wish Adobe would tell us if this is in development or not planned.  I agree, that paying a subscription based service ups the ante with exepctations on their customer service and development plans.  Even Microsoft is very open about what is planned or in development for new features with Office 365.  C'mon, Adobe, it's time for more transparency.

Yeah, so we had 6-7 releases sinse the request got traction, and still nothing.

Please, Adobe add color lables, watermarks, import/export options, drag and drop and other highly requested features that are sorely missing and been requested on this forum for years!

Please listen to your customers, our view on development has changed drastically since you transitioned to the subscription model. The user has also changed, we want it now, because we pay each and every month. Times, when you saved money for a several thousand dollar software like it was a car, then bought it and used it for years while being really happy you've got it are over. We now need constant improvement and a clear roadmap, we need you to listen. Of all the 40 pages of Ideas on this forum, spanning through years of feedback, there are only a few that has an Implemented tag to them.

Color labels are vital to my workflow. I am not kidding when I say I do not use LR CC because of this issue.

Please add color labels! IT seems a lot of us have our workflows broken between our Desktop or laptop and tablet. Surely there’s enough support for this by now to add the functionality. This thread has been going on for a year and still no support from ADOBE.

Gratitude and, PLEASE HELP!!!

I decided today to try adding mobile Lightroom CC in my professional Adobe workflow. No color labels? Seriously? Fine. Back to my MacBook.

Come on, Adobe!

A colored box around the thumbnail on the strip will make is stand out as marked. Currently you can flag or reject or star rate. If there were 2-3 colors that could be selected as denoting status, you would be able to see them at a glance on the filmstrip view below the editing of the images.

CC is basically amputated and brain dead without keyword and color label support together with the constant crashing when brush adjustments are applied to photos and viewed via CC on android tablet (auto report a million times)

Home desktop win10 is where I do all importing, culling, keyword, color labels etc and sync to cloud.... laptop at studio enables work on projects started at home and client reviews, I sync via CC then switch to classic on laptop. Seriously, no labels, keywords are synced ?....

How am I supposed to find stuff to show clients without looking like a clunky idiot stumbling around searching by looking... star ratings is not a viable or sensible workaround.

Nearly one yr this thread and no word from Adobe rep...! Pls action these features, tnx.

Just added a vote for supporting the color labels in the Lightroom CC ( on IOS). I use the color labels to mark the progression of my workflow.   Red for images that will be edited, yellow for images that have been edited but not exported, Green for exported/complete.  I use photomechnic to ingest/cull/and edit metadata.. There is a PM preference to use the Lightroom color labels. and that allows me to the  start the process in one app and end it in another. I can even use the same keyboard short cuts ( 6 for red, 7 for yellow, 8 for green) in both applications. Well  it allows me to do that with Lightroom CC Classic.  I sync CC classic with my iPad and then  ...boom no more color labels.  Kind of a pain to get back to CC Classic on the desktop and then have to adjust the color label to continue with my workflow.

So Please add color labels to CC on IOS

Thanks
Gary

Yep, I agree that would be an issue if someone's trying to work with a foot in both camps Jeremy.
