P: Add Color Labels

I added thousands of photos (other than those in Synced Catalogs) and now I cannot differentiate them other than by the standard filters provided because I have used color labels to identify certain criteria. Color labels are just as important as Flags, Please add them!

My workflow depends on color labels as well. Would be great.

I am not programmer but is it so hard to add such little things to LR CC? I thought that would be a given to add any function of lr Classic which is not relying on performance issues on other devices like tablets.

Color labels are an indispensable tool for sorting images in Lightroom.

I use them for a wide variety of sorting, but most importantly for sorting through artists for the concerts I shoot. With thousands of images, it’s easier to batch sort a Red filter than to hand make every keyword label to each artist.

Color labels on Lightroom Mobile would be an important addition for mobile photographers everywhere.

Ability to use colour labels in addition to star ratigs and flags - just like in LrC and competing software. The usual colours options are fine, and maintaining this information in Sync would be a boon.

How many years has this now been a missing feature in LR Mobile?
Color labels are an essential need for my (and every other photographer I know) workflow.  On the main LR system, images get tagged with color labels to indicate importance of editing.  When I move to the iPad to edit, I can’t see squat.  Please, this isn’t rocket science.

Please add color labels to the Lightroom Cloud ecosystem. I was very disappointed the other day when I started syncing collections to the cloud from Lightroom Classic and the color labels were not available on Lightroom Mobile, etc. I'd love to be able to make selects from phone/tablet, but without color labels it just does not fit my workflow.

As I said: I know about them. Two problems:

1. they don't work properly, I had many occassions when not all photo were shown, that should've been

2. it is not as near as good solution regarding software ergonomics, as the alternative in LR Classic - why step back?

Good news for you... there's a whole heap of stuff you can filter on using search facets. Try these: https://helpx.adobe.com/uk/lightroom-cc/using/search-organize-mobile-ios.html#search-photos

@william_wysong No, Lightroom Classic CC has color labels. The "new" Lightroom CC is still missing several features including color labels.

@Victoria_Bampton_Lightroom_Queen Yes: You can filter for camera right now, but you cannot for lenses or other settings, like flash fired, aperture, iso, etc. I know, that I can search for them, and it should work theoretically, but in practice, more often than not, it won't list every photo, that should be included. Also typing and lining up multiple search criteria is not as productive, as it was in Classic, where you saw in a list every possible attribute, and you just chose the ones you wanted.
