P: Additional options needed when exporting

I ask because when you export in Lightroom CC, called "save to," the only parameter you can adjust is the pixels. Nothing else that I can see. In other versions of Lightroom you get a whole bunch of parameters to adjust, including DPI. Clients specify sometimes the settings that they want. Or another possibility is that I'm doing it wrong, and if so, could someone let me know how to export and adjust things like DPI.

For me this works (on iPad/Mac): send Raw file via Wifi from camera to iPad with ShutterSnitch, import raw file from ShutterSnitch to LR, edit on iPad Pro. LR on iPad syncs with Adobe Cloud, and I can set up LR classic in the Mac to sync with Adobe Cloud as well (not the entire catalog, just the ones coming from iPad). This is done in the preferences of LR classic. I don't use LR CC on the desktop, it doesn't have professional functionality IMHO. From LR classic I can export the images that were synced from iPad. This works for the few images that need quick processing. I send small jpegs from my iPad, and anything bigger from LR classic on the Mac. The bulk of the images I edit on the MacBook. Not perfect, but it works.

@7634893 Bronkhorst I did not find an existing function to sync between lightroom CC iPad version and PC version of Lightroom Classic CC. And even the PC version Lightroom CC does not have a fully functioned export feature. If you export a JPEG file in PC version Lightroom CC, it will be the same size as in iPad version of Lightroom CC.
The only solution I can find out is:
1. Import your raw and jpg from DLSR to iPad Photos through a USB cable.
2. Import raw and jpg from iPad Photos to Lightroom CC iPad version.
3. Delete the photos in iPad Photos because you already got same copies in Lightroom CC iPad version application folder.
4. Edit your photos in Lightroom CC iPad version on the go.
5. Sync (upload) your photos to Lightroom CC photo cloud provided by Adobe.
6. When you get back home, open the PC version of lightroom CC, sync(download) the photos from Adobe Cloud.
7. Right Click the photo you want to export, select edit in Photoshop.
8. You get a photo in TIFF format with ProPhoto RGB color space in Photoshop.
9. You can use this TIFF for print or use photoshop to transfer it into high-quality JPG file.

CC on iPad, sync with Classic on desktop and vice versa. That works reasonably well. Serious exports etc have to be done on desktop.

Good feedback! Thank you for reporting. I’m enjoying learning how to like the CC version and the convenience features like being able to edit on an iPad. But it appears there are some extreme limits too. I would equally be as frustrated as you. Maybe the Classic is the way to go. ??

This function is really important. I just bought a iPad Pro 11 1TB for editing photos on the go with Lightroom CC. It's my first iPad. I spend a lot of time editing my photos with Lightroom CC iPad version on the plane. Then after i exported the picture, i found i was cheated. The jpg picture exported is only 2.8MB. It could be 11MB if i exported by Lightroom Classic CC on my PC. The size different means a lot of details has been lost. I feel so sad about it.

This the problem. There is no real competitor (maybe photos on macOS/ios but far from perfect).
And adobe got probably a very small team (or some very very little team on each  OS  develop on Mac, iOS, windows, android, web)  resulting lot of compromise and prioritizing). Becomes really sad about that

Try Lightroom Classic CC, it’s basically LR that we’ve used for years. I used it when I was a professional and went back to it when LR CC isn’t fully up to Classic options, or maybe that’s Adobes idea... why had too options the same.

Anyway, you can still use cloud and work on iPad etc, just more options and tool with Classic CC.

Is workflow able to create smart folder or drag and drop?

LR is the only software you need to check on other web site before you buy to understand what it is able to do or not. 1 year after, we are waiting export option. Or dean and drop or etc etc
