P: Additional options needed when exporting

I ask because when you export in Lightroom CC, called "save to," the only parameter you can adjust is the pixels. Nothing else that I can see. In other versions of Lightroom you get a whole bunch of parameters to adjust, including DPI. Clients specify sometimes the settings that they want. Or another possibility is that I'm doing it wrong, and if so, could someone let me know how to export and adjust things like DPI.

My dad still uses Lightroom 6, and works fine. Why has Lr5 stopped?
Lightroom CC is a very different thing, than Lr Classic CC.

I like Cloud auto backup and have it working across my devices, I'm now just using Lr CC on desktop and iPad.

My Lightroom 5 will not work now. I have tried Lightroom CC and I don't like it. Why try to fix something that isn't broken. I had no problem before but it appears it's not on option, and honestly, i don't want to ready pages and pages of responses and questions to many different problems. It just makes this more chaotic when I have customers waiting for me to get the work done that I can't. I really hate paying every month for Cloud. It's all about money.

If you are looking to export 1 original at a time, select an image, then top right, hit the share icon and export original.

If you want to get all your original raws held by lightroom off your iPad, plug it into your desktop or laptop, open iTunes, select file sharing, select Lightroom and you’ll see one folder with a long name. Select folder, scroll down to save button, hit it, choose folder and save.

In that folder is every raw file held by lightroom.

If you referring to the fact cloud Is now holding the originam image and not your mobile device, then I’m not sure. That’s why I always make sure I choose store locally on albums, so I’ve got a hard copy on my iPad.

You can get your original out the cloud. You can download the original jpeg or Raw file, and you can save this to your desktop or mobile, no issues.

If you get stuck then let me know.
As for renaming, okay I hear you. But I’m thinking that Adobe is moving to tagging your images, so that you can search all your images better.

If your working on mobile and desktop, then file names aren’t an issue unless you’re sending to someone that needs them in a naming format. But John and others have found a work around for that. But I agree, bit silly to be steered a certain way.

I am beyond frustrated.  I want to get an original out of Lightroom CC so that I can use Aperture to send it to a photo printer at a high enough resolution.  It would seem that, once an SD card is erased, my original is being held captive by Adobe.  Something  needs to be done about export options.
I am not a professional, I subscribed to Lightroom CC (the mobile one which I mostly use on my desktop) because I was looking for an alternative to Aperture and I thought it would  be a good thing to store my images in the cloud.  I'm happy with the photo editing process but lack of file renaming and limited export options have me searching for a new photo processing option.  I don't want to have to do that, it is way too time consuming.  Please fix this!!!!!

You can use the app called Workflow. I think apple bought it and changed the name, it may be called shortcuts now. In this app you can create a file renaming and resizing based on pixels action as an extension or widget action.  See attached these shortcuts I've created, you are welcome to use them.

This may sound complicated, but just go check it out, its easy. You either have a choose to save the files first to a folder then rename with a widget, or rename with an extension. Batch resize, batch rename and both rename and resize at the same time as both widget and extension.

Batch Resize File Ext
Batch Resize File
Batch Rename / Resize Ext
Batch Rename File Ext
Batch Rename File

When you say rename, what are you referring to? Renaming the file on export?

Just to confirm to everyone.
The images were being viewed on the iPad, and was the same issue on my pro and air.
Just don’t view direct from iCloud, out into its own folder. Or save to Lightroom folder. Still need a better way to rename etc, but the issue was poor images equally.

This just gets better. If you make a folder in iCloud, then put the image in there and view all good. Just not direct in iCloud root folder.

All very odd, but I can work with all now I know that oddities.
