P: Additional options needed when exporting

I ask because when you export in Lightroom CC, called "save to," the only parameter you can adjust is the pixels. Nothing else that I can see. In other versions of Lightroom you get a whole bunch of parameters to adjust, including DPI. Clients specify sometimes the settings that they want. Or another possibility is that I'm doing it wrong, and if so, could someone let me know how to export and adjust things like DPI.

I’m not sure who merged the last thread but 1. It’s for a different application than this thread(they’re talking about Classic and this thread relates to cloudy) 2. It’s unrelated

I'm a sports photographer and can end an event with several thousands of photos. I'd like the ability to be exporting one batch while editing the next set in Lightroom Classic. However, the export step hogs up so many resources that I can't effectively edit any more photos until it is done. My computer is reasonably capable and has lots of RAM. It would be nice to have the export feature be something that could run with lower priority so I could still perform edits.

I've seen traditional pros using Bridge for culling, Photoshop camera Raw for basic edits and Actual PS for deeper cuts. LR tries to be a bit of both, and thus nothing more than a compromise.
Bridge stores keywords into the file, while LR stores those into the catalog.

Of late, I've heard Luminar being mentioned more and more often.

I'm curious, are you still evaluating, or have you made a choice, if so, what was your choice, Alan?

When using the ‘Save To’ function in Lightroom Cloud and saving the photo as a JPEG please can you allow
1. The photo to keep its geo location data
2. The photo taken date to be kept as per the date the photo was taken and not the date the JPEG was created
3. Allow us to re-name the file as part of the saving process. For example save the name as ‘01 - summer fun’ and allow the numbers to increase automatically with exact photo exported.

There are all features from Lightroom in 2015 and the geo location data was kept in the previous version of the Lightroom app earlier in 2019.

I would like to edit photos in Lightroom mobile for my Ipad Pro (great with such a fantastic pen) but is a shame not to being able to save the pics in formats different by jpeg or png for edited version of the picture.

Why don't make possible to have an Ipad limited version with, for export, setting like TIFF, color depth, dpi or sharpening for print/screen?

This would change the workflow of many thousand users of Lightroom for Ipad pro, being able to fully develop pictures on mobility!

Thanks!

Dear Adobe developers, an export format with lossless compression (e.g. TIFF) is urgently needed! Just to remind you, TIFF was taken over by you (Adobe) in 1994, so please step up your game!

I was trying to upload some pictures for my client to google docs so they could access them, but they were badly compressed, and I had to use my laptop. Please make it so I can use my IPad for everything.

I’m going to guess a lot of people don’t even know to find this forum or maybe never even really got into using the software because of the significance of this deficiency in comparison to the other kind of asks here, which don’t seem like things that’d ward off casual users. That, and this general underlying problem is also filed in various different ways it seems.

It's a good request, no question. It's just not there yet. At 117 votes, it's one of the most popular requests for LR Cloudy, so I'm sure it's a high priority for Adobe to add.
