P: Allow side panels to be resized

I have a number of albums named "festival name - year - band", but in the left hand panel of lightroom this is rendered as "festival name - year - ...", which causes a great deal of frustration when looking for a particular album.

Simply being able to make that panel a little wider would solve my woes

I agree, not being able to see your FULL ALBUM NAMES is unacceptable.

Yeah, you have to pause for too long IMHO before they show up.

Must admit, that was the first thing I thought to try, and it didn't work. It seems that LR has a mind of its own as to whether or not it wants to show these tooltips

If you float over it, it'll show in a tooltip, but it's a bit of a fine art and this is bugging me too, so you've got my vote.

Votes are fine - but I do consider it a problem that there's no way to discriminate between albums in the sidebar listing.

I’’ll vote for this. Far from a priority though.
I don’t think I’ve mentioned smart collections in a few days :). THey are my #1 wish!
