P: Auto-upload images into a special folder
TLDR: Auto Upload was accidentally turned on. It downloaded my entire 12k iCloud library to Adobe cloud, taking up all my cloud space and ruining my work flow. There's no way to sort out auto uploaded photos. My suggestion is to automatically upload "Auto Upload" photos into an Auto Upload folder by default unless specified otherwise.
Okay here's the sitch, I bought a new iPad and downloaded the Lightroom Mobile App. Somehow, whether it was by default or me selecting "allow access to camera roll," the "auto upload" feature was turned on and it uploaded MY ENTIRE 12k photo iCloud library to my Lightroom Cloud. I'm talking every personal photo, every stupid meme I screen capped, about 4K photos of my dog, and the worst part was I didn't realize it was on for a few weeks so all the photos are completely mixed in with my professional workflow in the all photos tab so I can't batch delete. And to make things more confusing, it reuploaded any exported photos from Lightroom back into Lightroom so it's even more confusing. I'm telling you, I've tried every sorting option and I cannot find a way to safely delete all the unnecessary photos without deleting probably hundereds of photos from my work flow.
I spent about 90 minutes chatting with support and they couldn't find a way to sort the photos that would allow me to delete the photos either.
Im so frustrated by the whole experience that I'm quitting Adobe. Why pay to have your entire workflow ruined, your whole cloud space filled, and no solution.
Anyways, my suggestion is that if auto upload is turned on, it automatically imports every photo into an "Auto Upload" folder so you can easily sort them out. Seriously, who wants Every Single Photo they ever take to get uploaded to a photo editing app? WTH.
