P: Creative SDK: Provide access to Lightroom Ecosystem keywords

The Creative SDK provides access to a photo's title, caption, capture date, flag, and rating, but not to keywords. If it also provided keywords, then it would be simple for a plugin to sync those keywords back to LR Classic, satisfying a large number of Classic users who wish to use LR CC to keyword their photos.  A couple hours of engineering to add keywords to the SDK would give a huge bang for the buck.

Adobe released a very limited version of a new Lightroom API for accessing assets stored in a user's Lightroom cloud library. But it seems they're not interested in providing full access any time soon:

Adobe has announced that the Creative SDK is being retired: https://creativesdk.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360026744212. But they've also announced they expect to release (sometime in 2019) a new CC Storage API that will let third party apps access all assets stored in the Creative Cloud: https://www.adobe.io/apis/creativecloud/ccstorageapi.html.

Let's hope the CC Storage APi is properly designed to provide apps with full access to all the content stored in the CC, including metadata like keywords. One hopeful sign is that, unlike the Creative SDK, the CC Storage API will use a more flexible RESTful protocol.

I would appreciate this feature very much. Some people have said they would pay for it. I would too but only by continuing to pay the monthly fee for using a set of software that should have this facility already!

I'd would pay for this feature too. The missing synchronization between LR CC (mobile) and LR Classic is the one and only reason I don't use LR CC (and that means I won't upgrade my cloud space at ADOBE until further notice too ....)

Oh, I'd be the first to pay (within reasonable limits) for such a tool...
