P: Enable photo merge (Pano & HDR) with imported images

Now that LRM has the ability to do HDR photos with the built in camera, it would be nice to also be able to produce HDR images with imported photos.  It should be fairly easy to implement since the coding is already done for the camera.

@stefanf92203614  This here is the Lightroom Classic forum. You’d be better off posting on the Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based) | Adobe DME forum

Hello, I'd like to add a tally here for the feature request to support Pano / HDR Pano merges on Lightroom Mobile (iPad in particular), the same as is supported in Desktop. All M-series iPad Pros should be powerful enough to support this, and my iPad Pro M4 is now much more powerful than my 2020 intel-chipped MacBook Pro, which struggles with larger HDR Pano merges.

This has been a highly requested feature since at least 2020, please Adobe--prioritize this! Thanks in advance.

Photo merge (both panorama and HDR) are basic functions we desperately need. These are far more important than the AI features being added by Adobe.  I am currently looking into using Luminar for just these reasons.  Please Adobe, listen to our needs.

There are a number of features from Lightroom Classic that prevent me from adopting the other version of Lightroom, but by far the most annoying omission on the iPad is the inability to stitch a panorama. I make a lot of panoramas and I would love to be able to take my iPad as the only editing device while on vacation, but unfortunately, after all these years, you still can't make a panorama with Lightroom on iPadOS. With background task support in iPadOS 26, can you please finally make this happen Adobe?
