As well as IPTC meta data (come on Adobe how hard can this be? You already have it in Classic) I'd like Lightroom & CC to have a built in FTP server so that professionals can +++selectively+++ transmit images from a pro camera right into Lightroom.

Currently the only way to choose one or a selection of images and transmit them from cameras like the R3 and R5 is via FTP. There are other options but they send everything and editorial & sports photographers shoot a lot of bursts and just need to pick they key image and transfer that immedialy usually with very little bandwidth.

If you could FTP into Lightroom, for example running on an iPad in your pocket, that image could be synced to Lightroom CC for a remote editor or work on, or the photographer could quickly edit and transmit that image directly.

The key point here is that to choose one image from many and send it from the camera the only option is FTP. Until Camera manufacturers allow that option via direct teathering then an FTP server option is still needed.

ShutterSnitch already does this, I'm sure adobe can figure it out also.
