P: Give us the ability to use lightroom as a basic stock photos app

I want to just take photos/screenshots, edit them, and have them save to device while overwriting the originals. (Keep the original as a version in lightroom if you want. But the local copy should be edited)

Its wild how every time I edit a photo I need to manually redownload a copy if i ever want to use it (which considering I just took it, I probably do)

Bonus feature: don't upload unless I specifically click upload. 97% of my photos are just social media posts or messages. I don't need it backed up and archived forever.

Its wild how a "premium" photos app won't just work as a photos app. Sure you can say lightroom is "overkill" to replace Google photos, but there is absolutely no reason to just outright forbid users from doing it, especially when we're paying £60 a month for the suite.

And if you're *going* to upload photos whether I want to or not, at least upload all of them. Not just ones I edit. Why is it fragmented like that.

Also, screenshots don't show in "on this device" without specifically going into the screenshots folder. Kinda defeats the point of an "all photos" option which I assume is what "on this device" means considering every other folder shows up there?
