Google is the most used search engine, as it comes with drive and google photos for free!! And can buy extra storage as well. I save and share a bunch of photos through Google photos and it would super helpful to be able to import and export or share photos to google photos. Who else would love this!

@Sameer K using the link shared (https://adobe.ly/4mX18D3I am able to download selected Google photos to Lr, edit the photos in Lr, and share back to Google Photos.  But a duplicate photo is created after the sharing back the edited file to Google Photos.  Is there an option to overwrite the original file in Google photos?

Hey, @Dom DiNardi. Lightroom, at core, is always non-destructive, meaning the original file isn't modified at lengths, hence replacing, or over writing in any workflows isn't possible.

We hope you understand.

Thanks!

Why can't we have an easy way to import images from Google Photos? There should be an easy way to do this.

Hey, @Bakst Creatives. Thanks for the comment. In Lightroom Web (https://adobe.ly/4mX18D3), you can connect your Google Photos account from the Add Photos menu. Just click on Add Photos > Connect to Google Photos.

Why do I have to download photos from Google Photo before importing them into LR? Why not import directly? Suggestion: Google Photo appears like yet another album when I want to select phots for editing on my tablet.
