P: Graphical & Image Based Watermarks on images

When outputting any image from Lightroom mobile directly to any service, the image needs to have, at minimum, a © NAME simple watermark placed upon it. I don't think we need full functionality of the Watermark editor in Lightroom desktop but we do need the minimum functionality of the Simple Watermark in Lightroom's Export dialog. Until there is a way to mark an image, why would anyone consider using LR mobile to post anywhere?

NOTE: The original post was a request for a simple, text based watermark which has been implemented. This thread will continue to be the place to vote for image based watermarks.

Edit: 1/21/2020  - This thread has been changed to represent all three of the Lightroom Ecosystem Clients (Desktop, Web, and Mobile)

Edit: 5/15/2020 - This thread has been updated to include information on new functionalities. Please see the official post below.

Please make this feature available. Where is the consistency (where appropriate) that Adobe has always advocated?

There is no method to watermark and image before export or syncing to lightroom mobile

Hey, Reggie! It may seem like merging posts is simply burying them but it's how feature requests are prioritized. If we don't merge them they don't get counted.

Whether or not they make it into the next update depends on how many other serious issues precede them. The popular stuff usually makes it sooner of later so go ahead and click that little "Vote" box in the upper right of the screen. That's how it works!

Cheers!

As a full time pro doing a lot of sessions, it would soooo help my workflow for the mobile system to be an expanded system for my client to select and receive full res images once done. Now, because of only being able to like and comment on images, I often wind up with people selecting a large number of them to work on. If they had access to a rating system that they could filter down, it would allow them to make multiple culling passes. It is also easy to miss if they come back later and like more images. Once I edit the images for my clients, I have to use dropbox or a gallery on my website to get the full res images to them. Would be great to simply trigger a full res upload to them through LR.

As the originator of this request,  and having previously occupied Rick's current position, I can assure you that Adobe is aware of the request. Every vote helps but prioritization of features is a complex process. Without limitless resources, not everything can be done at once and sometimes it takes a long time.

Are you joking Rick? This thread itself is 3 years old! How much more "weight" can this change give it? Are you implying that no one at Adobe has looked at this in all that time?

Great idea, Codie! You're not alone.

A popular idea! I merged it with the rest and changed it to an idea to give it more weight.

Thanks, Tiera!
