P: HDR over airplay to OLED TV

Hi, If i do screen mirroring from my iPad to OLED TV (using apple airplay), with Apple Photos App i am getting HDR brightness for presented picture, even this picture was exported from lightroom to Apple Photos App.  However, if i see Lightroomw App using same screen mirroring, no HDR is visibleon presented Lightroom pictures.  It would be nice for HDR support over screen mirroring for Lightroom App, at least for presenting photos.

    Hello @lacika 

    I'm going to convert your question into an idea.  The reason why this works with Apple Photos is that when displaying an image full screen on your TV, your device temporarily treats that screen as if it's an attached 2nd display.  In terms of APIs, this is different than simple screen sharing LR relies on for basic AirPlay screen sharing.  It would take some substantial app redesign / code reworking to make this happen.

     

    Now that this post is an Idea, others can upvote to help the team gauge interest.
