P: How to take a photo in Lightroom using only your voice?

I can use voice control with my native iphone camera to take a photo by saying "tap take picture". I would like to be able to take a photo within lightroom mobile by a voice command as well. How to do this?

i found a solution. i had to download a diff screen casting software called apowersoft (some random broadcasting app i found), and my physical bluetooth remote worked w that particular broadcasting software. thanks everyone for your suggestions 🙂

Hi @ModRebel376708778qch

I responded to your separate post about screen mirroring.  The behavior you describe is as good as it gets with the current app design (ie landscape capture doesn't redraw on the 2nd screen as landscape orientation).

As far as remote triggering, if bluetooth headphones no longer trigger capture during screen mirroring, I would guess only a physical headphone volume control might work still.  By using a Lightning or USBC to 3.5mm headphone adapter plus a long 3.5mm extension cord, you might get the remote trigger to work.

In case none of this works out for you, I just want to ensure you know that the LR in app camera includes a timer (hidden in the 3-dot menu inside the camera) -- 2/5/10 seconds options

So I got the top vol button to work. You have to close all other open applications. I was aircasting my phone screen and also my other native iphone camera was open and this made so top vol button press made vol inc instead of taking photo. after closing everything my bluetooth remote worked to take a photo. my problem now tho is that i want to view the lightroom viewport on an external display while i click the bluetooth remote to take photos. but aircasting disables the bluetooth remote and makes it just click vol up button to inc vol and mirroring to my macbook disables the remote completely, and also cant rotate to landscape in mirroring. any ideas on making so can see the camera viewport in lr mobile on my macbook pro, or a tv monitor or something?

Ah, this worked well for me until I used my personal iPhone with Spotify installed.  Tapping volume on my wireless AirPods started playing Spotify music instead of doing in LR iOS Capture that I had open.

Hrm... I see the same experience when the iOS camera is open.  It may not be a software/LRMI problem, but a limitation of the platform.

Let me ask the LR iOS developers of there's any improvement possible.

What I mean: "bluetooth remote that came w one of my tripods" is probably designed for digital cameras, not your iphone.

I am only sure that headphones with Volume +/- controls work.  I don't believe bluetooth camera triggers for DSLRs work
