P: Keyboard Shortcut customization

Enjoying the new CC for the most part, but one of the concerns I've got so far is that some of my most-used keyboard shortcuts have been changed.

For instance, I used to quickly cruise through new imports and use the Pick flag shortcut to find my selects. This used to be a very intuitive key—P—but in LR CC it's now...Z. And there's no way that I've found to change it back.

Could we please have configurable keyboard shortcuts? Or at least some sort of legacy mode so our muscle memory is still effective in the new environment?

sorry if I'm yelling but HOW is there no option to change bindings of hotkeys? Actually insane.

Like I cannot fathom this.

And there's no hotkey for labelling a photo as purple, so I can't even use a macro to rebind it elsewhere.

I am flabberghasted.

The keyboard shortcut for removing from an album, "Backspace" and deleting from your library "Alt" & "Backspace" are very similar.

Please consider making the keystroke shortcuts for these two very different actions equally different.

Il est une honte que nous soyons en presque 2026 et que Lightroom ne permette pas de modifier les raccourcis clavier...

S'il vous plaît, changez ça, cela devient urgent !!!

A lot of things are ridiculous. If you're paying a photography plan they're giving you Bridge without Camera Raw. They want you've a subscription to Photoshop to give you the possibility to use Camera Raw with Bridge. The same Camera Raw you can already use with Lightroom and Lightroom Classic. I think this is the most ridiculous thing!

Monthly subscription paying customer here. Keyboard commands between LRC and LR should match exactly such as "P" for pick.  Its ridiculous that this is not already the case.

Hello everyone,

is there a reason why Lighroom Desktop doesn't have some keyboard shortcuts that Lightroom Classic does?

For example "Update AI Settings in xx Photos".

I'm repeating also here: if for Adobe Lightroom Desktop is an app useful also for pro photographers there is no meaning to not include some important features like keyboard shortucts or, for example, the LABELS!

I tried for a while to get them to make the keyboard commands the same, but it seems to fall on deaf ears.

I still would love this feature in mobile/lightroomcc, keyboard z for zoom, flagging same as LrC, and brush size adjustments, and slider adjustments via plus and minus key.

You have no idea how frustrating it is not to have a one-key keyboard shortcut for Zoom/Unzoom. The Z key has been the standard 'Zoom' shortcut forever and you changed it in the Lightroom ecosystem/mobile. Please bring it back!

Bitte implimentieren DANKE !

After diving down a rabbit hole about translatedstring files it seems there is no direct way or workaround to create or change existing Lightroom shortcuts. It seems like it was/is a feature in the classic version but only on mac and I would love to see this option on the cloud version of lightroom for both windows and mac
