P: Lightroom Desktop - Allow full-size previews in Add Photos dialog

This has been asked many times on the old forums but here we go again:

Can you please implement the same full screen previews on import like on Lightroom Classic. All we need is a double click on the file to go to max zoom to be able to cull the images before importing.

Culling at the moment requires an import of ALL the files before being able to judge whether a file is worthy of importing at all, this also takes up bandwidth/storage on your end.
