P: Local Storage: Show files in subfolders

I really enjoy the new "Local" storage option in the Lightroom CC desktop app but the fact that you have to drill down to a specific folder to view files makes it painful. It would be great if selecting a parent folder, all the photos in the child folder would show up. I understand there's performances issues in doing this but it's not much different than opening one folder with a lot more files in it.

This Sub-Folders feature in Local in LrD is now supported in the latest version 9.0.

Please give us the ability to view all images in all subfolders in Lightroom. I currently use LrC and I'm trying to figure out how to switch to Lightroom so I can start utilizing cloud storage. However, not being able to see my already organized images in a 'view all' type way is giving me pause. It's a major turn off when the first thing I'm presented with is "This folder does not contain editable files". It's not a good first impression for those willing to consider Lightroom now that it doesn't force the cloud. It makes me reconsider everything.

I've also just realized this means I can't just click the parent folder to upload all. I will have to go through each subfolder (hundreds of them!) to move to the cloud. This would also seem to imply that I will have to reorganize my photos all over again since the folder structure won't translate. The thought of reorganzing thousands upon thousands of photos is daunting to say the least.

I agree, this is the one function that's preventing me switching fully over from LR Classic.
