P: Maintain People Sort Order on Screen

Having the list of people randomly change order each time you get to the screen, or add a name is not only annoying, but has caused me to enter the wrong information multiple items.

The sort order should be idempotent, preferably based appearance in the image (left to right, top to bottom to my way of thinking).

From what I can tell, there is no order.

I had a family photo as a test case with no recognized names. Open the photo, hold the mouse over each "add name" block and watch which person is highlighted on the image. switch to some other image, come back in, and watch the order change,

Next test was the much more aggravating one, put in a name, and watch the list change to a random order.

Ah, can't help with that particular screen. I have no idea what governs the order in which the potential faces are listed in the Tags panel. It would be interesting to know.

Which screen, Tim? The People View screen, or something else? If the People View screen, how have you got the sort order currently set?
