P: Mute image outside the crop boundary while cropping

I would be able to compose my images better through cropping if while using the crop tool, I could NOT see the rest of the image outside of the crop lines. That way I could preview what it will look like as I go. Is this something you can add to Lightroom and or Photoshop? Thanks and keep up the amazing work.

    Right. I'd just like to have the option.

      I would argue against this.  When I'm cropping or moving the image around I like to be able to see what is outside that I could include in the image with a different crop or if I were to move the image left/right/up/down.  Or maybe it could be implemented to only activate using a keyboard shortcut (to disable the view outside the crop hold down 'whatever' key).
