P: Photo info missing

From a collection in Lightroom, clicking on "Make Public" gives a web address to the collection. Using this method, the Photo Info does not appear when viewing photos at the web address. If the desktop version of LR Mobile is used, it is possible to copy the URL paste it into a browser, and view the photo info. Since the Make Public URL is automatically shortened, it is more convenient to use. Is it possible to include the photo info with the Make Public generated URL?

It would also be good to include the location information with the photo info.

I can see the overlays. Here's a screenshot of how they should look. Are you tapping i (no quotes or other keys). What browser and OS are you using?

My apologies.  I was in the owner's view, not the Share URL.  It does work there.  Still there appears to be a large number of us that would like the filename to be available in the info panel in the Share URL.  Is that not possible?  Thanks for your assistance and I apologize for my error.

Just making sure, are you in the Share URL and not the owner's view of the collection? If you have a URL of the share you wouldn't mind posting or sending directly to me, I could take a look.

Thanks for the reply.  It won't work in the grid view or the loupe view.  I tried them both.

Amazing, the beardsworth plug in does the job of changing the info panel to the filename and now it shows up in the loupe panel. Shame Adobe couldn't make this happen

Hi Richard Sparks,

It sounds to me like you are in loupe (single image view). The "i" shortcut only works from the Grid on shares.

It only works on the thumbnail display. But see my post above for how to get the filename in the info panel in full screen display.

Richard Coencas, I tried what you are suggesting and it doesn't work from my desktop.  There is an icon on the bottom right corner that opens up a panel that says "Photo Info" but no info is displayed.  What am I doing wrong?  The link is 1SGClif.  Even if this did work, what about clients that review photos from their phone or iPad?  They can't hit the "i" key.  There should be a better option than this.  Thanks for taking the time to respond.  This thread was started one year ago, and to my knowledge you are the first response from Adobe.  I point that out, again, to say thanks for responding.  Please let me know why this won't work on my machine.

@53580_Coencas I've done a further search and found a previous thread from you that explained that the Caption filed does show up https://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family/topics/no-filename-displayed-lr-cc-mobile-web-galleries-huge-oversight It's an easy work around then to copy the filename into the caption field (I used John Beardy's Search and Replace plugin http://www.beardsworth.co.uk/lightroom/search-and-replace/ ). The files re-sync and then my clients can still see the filenames.

Well hidden, very much so but that is a big help. It would be so good if that was maintained in the full screen display not just the thumbnails. Cant understand why the info panel is always empty.
