As in photoshop The StarXTerminator plug-in for Photoshop removes stars at the press of a button!

And

StarNet++, a free script for PixInsight.

Astrophotography editing needs to have a star removal by simply a "click of a button". Stars aren't needed most of the time, hinder editing by overwhelming the object in post processing. Generally speaking, stars are only needed for globular clusters or obviously galaxies, but definitely not for nebula. Please and thank you!

not very practical, obviously when there are other programs not made specifically for astronophotogrophy, but a plug in with a one push button.

Lightroom is a general photo editor, not a specialist astrophotography photo editor, so I doubt this will ever be implemented. It does not support plugins. Can't you use the spot removal tool? After all, a star is just a very bright spot.
