P: Search by date

Please add the ability to search by dates in metadata.  I want to see something like captured: November 4

I'd really like to search by any metadata, but really, this is #1 for me. I understand I can drill down in the menus, but that forces a year.

Example: I want to see all the photos I've ever taken on my kid's birthday, no matter the year. How?

Same here, this feature is cruicial to me. Pls just bring it to the mobile version as it is implemented in the desktop version.

Correct. If I have 50000 pictures I need to find them before I can tag them.

That search finds pictures that have November anywhere in the exif data and a 4 anywhere, including the file name. Doesn’t work.

Hi Ben

You can search for photos captured on a particular date by just typing the date in the search bar. For the example you mentioned in the description, try searching with the string "4 November". Please share if that helps you find the photos you are looking for.

Your post is somewhat offtopic. He wants to search by date from EXIF/IPTC without a year.

Are you tracking you can do this now ? You can use many different tags for what your describing and then search for that.

For example , tag the picture with ( Birthday : Jane: November )

Then search for all pictures with those 3 tags

Assign keywords then search by them
