Please show foto information directly on the preview of a foto in addition to the info panel on the right. At lease iPad LR CC shows if a foto is raw. I am talking about the feature which can be switched on in LR Classic CC by pressing "i" key

Ooof. Only 26 people interested in this basic functionality?

One thing that LR Classic has that I really miss in LR Cloud Desktop is the ability to see metadata for each picture when viewing more than one.

My request would be the ability to toggle on/off the display of, at a minimum, the complete filename and capture date. The filename would also indicate if it's a RAW or JPG. And this should be in available in all views: both of the grid views, detail view, and compare view.

When I'm comparing many similar photos, it's really helpful to know at a glance which are the RAWs, which the JPGs from that RAW, maybe one or more JPGs I've exported with different edits. And be able to differentiate which is which. As it stands now, I can display the Info panel, but that is only for one photo at a time. And it takes up a lot of screen real estate. If I'm in Compare view, each image gets significantly smaller when turning on the Info panel. And I have to remember which photo is which. If this info was in an overlay I could see it all in a glance.

Any updates on this? I use LR CC Desktop client on Mac and I cannot find a way to look at exif info overlay on Grid view, which is really helpful to sort out images based on f/, speed, ISO, etc.

Sorry, I wrote "rather than" but I meant "additionally to the info panel"
