P: showing file info on the thumbnails

One of the things I LOVE in LIghtroom mobile is the ability to toggle onfo on and off of the thumbnails that shows the file size, kind of image, image capture date right on the image.  Very helpful when deciding which of multiple similar images I want to work on.  Can't find this feature in Lightroom Classic or Lightroom -- but it would be a good one!!

Thnx.

Can we please get a toggle option to display image file names under thumbnails?

I work in a marketing team and we often have to share contact sheets or low res JPGs with external companies or other sales/product departments for marking up.

They'll often refer to filenames as that's usually the only unique identifier they can see. It would be great to be able to toggle on/off filenames under thumbnails in Lightroom (Cloud-based) instead of having to search file names, as this is cumbersome, especially when a quick glance would be all that's needed if file names were visible.

Cheers

This feature exists in Lightroom Classic too, but only in Loupe view (in grid view you can show lots of info on the slide mounts). You can even speciafy which details you want to see. Hit the 'i' key to see the first info set, hit the 'i' key again to see the second set. To change the sets, go to View - View Options (Cmd-J/Ctrl-J). That is where you can change the info in grid view too. It does indeed not exist in Lightroom desktop however.
